Configure a Database

Last Updated: Version R2510

Store and manage database connections for Microsoft Azure SQL that the Designer can use within Business Rules when they Create a New Batch Type.

The Designer may want to create a business rule that adds new information to an existing database. In this case, the Designer can add a business rule to a Batch Type flow, and then selects a database from the options created here. As an example, the Designer may want to create a flow that checks an invoice against a PO and updates a database column to indicate paid. Or, the Designer may need to query a specific field in the database, and then apply that data to a specific variable.

  1. Choose Settings.

  2. Choose Databases.

  3. Enter the Connection name and Connection String.

  4. Click Add Database.

If you need to delete an obsolete database, click Edit, and then choose Delete Database.
