New

Barcode handling has been implemented in a process flow step. This feature allows for barcode reading, document separation, value extraction, and zone-based barcode location identification. It supports multiple barcode formats and provides configuration options for specifying barcode usage within the system.
Image Cleanup Process Task is available as a configurable setting in the process flow. Designers can now select options such as Blank Page Removal, Despeckle, Deskew, and Auto rotate to enhance image quality during processing.
Analytics Dashboards are now embedded within RICOH IA and are available by clicking the Analytics icon.
An SFTP Import feature allows you to import files from SFTP folders to create batches. This feature includes options for selecting SFTP connections, specifying folder paths, setting file masks, and configuring import settings such as polling intervals and post-import actions.
RCIP Integration leverages API capabilities to implement business rules, tax rate validation, field calculations, and structure communication validation. It also includes XML UBL 2.1 format transformation and embedded PDF file handling in base64 format.

Improvements

The barcode separation functionality includes wildcard support in the "Barcode Value Found" feature. This enhancement allows for versatile barcode matching, supporting wildcards and 'starts with', 'ends with', or 'contains' functionality, making it easier to process varied barcode formats.
The Ideas Portal link now opens a new tab and directs to a form to enter your idea and details for suggestions or improvements to RICOH IA.
The Business Rule for Execute Regular Expression and Modify String has been enhanced to allow for blank or empty replacement text. This improvement enables users to replace characters with either an empty string or a space, providing more flexibility in string manipulation operations.

GDPR compliance measures have been implemented. This includes conducting data audits, implementing policies for data handling and user consent, and regularly reviewing and updating practices to ensure ongoing compliance with regulations.
Multiple new UI language options have been added, including Dutch, Catalan, Italian, Vietnamese, Traditional Chinese, Thai, Spanish, German, and Portuguese. Users can now select their preferred display language through the login screen or user profile settings.
A new process flow step has been added to split batches into smaller batches. This feature allows designers to determine where in the process flow to split a batch, with configurable options for the number of documents per new batch.
A new configurable XML export feature has been implemented. Users can now configure exports with System, Batch, and Document values and variables
An Offline Upload Agent for scanning has been introduced. This feature enables high-volume scanning capabilities with local document processing, reducing the time before images are displayed for operator review.
Analytics dashboards have been embedded into the RIA UI, enhancing data visualization and reporting capabilities.
Error handling for the login screen has been improved. Users will now receive real-time feedback for issues such as invalid credentials, account lockouts, missing fields, server or network problems, inactive accounts, and session timeouts.
Error handling for the Work Queue Filter Screen has been enhanced. Users will now receive notifications about invalid inputs during filter setup and descriptive error messages for backend failures.
Detailed error messages have been added to the Manage Groups screen. These cover issues such as group creation, updates, and permissions configuration, providing clear guidance to users.
The Work Queue screen now includes improved error messaging. This covers issues during queue loading, filtering, execution failures, and errors caused by invalid user permissions.

Improvements

The AI Model library has been enhanced with a new feature for sample document submission. Users can now submit a sample document to the prebuilt Read and Layout Azure AI models, generating a list of key-value pairs to assist in field mapping during model creation or updates.

Fixes

A spelling error in the Batch Type History UI has been corrected. The status 'Submited' has been updated to correctly display as 'Submitted' in the Action column.

New

A new Entra authentication feature has been implemented. This allows admins to enable Entra authentication and specify allowed domains, enhancing security and streamlining the login process for users with registered email addresses.
A cookie policy prompt has been added to comply with data privacy regulations. Users will now be informed about cookie usage when visiting the platform.
The RIA Platform has undergone a visual refresh with a new color palette. The update includes Intelligent Blue as the primary color, Cloud Gray for backgrounds, and Accent Sky as a secondary accent, improving the overall aesthetic and user experience.
A new setting has been introduced for Batch/Document fields. When no HITL screen is defined in the process flow, the system will now use the default value for required fields, streamlining the workflow.
Help documentation links have been added to RIA. Users can now easily access User Documentation directly from the platform, improving self-service support.

The Account Screen now includes comprehensive error handling. This update addresses issues related to account management, including invalid account configurations, alerts, and the removal of batches.
The Preferences screen now includes detailed error messages for the User Profile and Privacy & Security sections. These messages provide specific feedback on issues related to profile updates, invalid inputs, failed saves, setting updates, and credential problems.

Improvements

The stamping feature has been enhanced and is now visible in the quick view. This improvement allows users to quickly assess stamping information without navigating to a separate screen.
The system now supports the use of Azure AI or Natif AI for generating the Full Text Layer of Manual Document Types. This enhancement improves the accuracy and efficiency of text extraction from documents.
