Prior to the Designer setting up RICOH IA in terms of system settings and process flows, ensure that you consult the following list: 

• If using the IDP AI models in either Natif or Azure to perform document processing (separation, classification or extraction), set those up first:

  This documentation does not provide instructions to setup or train model in Natif or Azure. Please consult the specific AI provider documentation for extensive instructions to complete the following tasks.

  • Data Collection: Gather a diverse and extensive dataset of documents for training the model.

  • Data Pre-processing: Clean and pre-process the data to ensure it is suitable for training, including removing noise and standardizing formats.

  • Training: Train the models using the preprocessed data, ensuring it learns to accurately process and understand documents. You must perform the training with at least 50 samples for each document type.

  • Evaluation: Assess the model's performance using validation datasets and metrics to ensure accuracy and reliability.
