Process Flow: Connector

A Connector directs the workflow to an AI model that will perform Document Separation, Document Classification, or Data Extraction. After you drag and drop a Connector to the path, the Connector settings appear and you can select the appropriate model.

Before you add a Connector to the flow, ensure that you have added the extraction, classification, or Separation AI model within Add an AI Model to the Library. Once you add a Connector to the flow, you are required to select the specific AI model derived from the AI Model Library.

You must have either a New Batch or Import task in the flow before a Connector.

  1. Drag and drop the Connector from the Steps to a + symbol on the process flow.

  2. Enter a unique name for the Connector, and then choose the Service type: Data Extraction, Document Separation, or Document Classification.

  1. As shown in the clip above, if you select Data Extraction, no further choices are required. If you choose Document Separation or Classification, you must also choose the corresponding AI model that will perform the service.

  2. Continue adding other steps to the Process Flow.
